    Job description

    We are looking for a Program/Project Manager local to the Washington DC area that will be responsible for the planning, organizing, and overseeing the completion of ServiceNow implementation projects to help ensure they are completed on time, on budget, and within scope. This is a hybrid position with 1 day in the office required. Program and project management work will include, but is not limited to the following:

    * Coordination with mission and business stakeholders in gathering and analyzing data to develop business, functional, and technical requirements and with a cross‐functional team information technology stakeholders and other contractors.
    * Support project planning efforts, including any or all of the following:

    * Program / Project request intake;
    * Program / Project requirements development;
    * Program / Project scope definition;
    * Pre-planning cost estimation; and
    * Out-year strategic planning and project strategic alignment support.

    * Ensuring the delivery and maintenance of all requisite project documentation in accordance with the SDLC and client policies.
    * Ensuring project teams adhere to the project charter and plan, WBS, and schedule to actively manage projects, expectations, and outcomes.
    * Developing and maintaining program/project charters, project management plans, risk matrices, action item trackers, meeting minutes, lessons learned and post implementation review presentations / reports for all assigned projects.
    * Building program/project schedules and maintaining all project schedules, including weekly project schedule updates and status reporting in accordance with client policies.
    * Performing other program/project management activities, including but not limited to:
    * Risk and Issue Management
    * Stakeholder Management
    * Scope Management
    * Resource Management
    * Schedule Management
    * Action Item Management
    * Program/Project performance management (via program/project metrics)
    * Cost and Budget Management
    * Transition to Operations and Maintenance Support

    Required Skills

    * PMP certification preferred
    * Government contracting experience
    * ServiceNow experience preferred
    * Work may be performed remotely, but must be open to being on client/Bravium office as needed
    * Minimum seven (7) years of project experience or Agile experience in the government environment
    * Five (5) years of project management experience or Agile experience in the government environment
    * Experience with MS Project
    * Excellent project management skills across a wide range of information technology projects
    * Strong communication, coordination, questioning, and analytical skills
    * Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the business
    * Ability to demonstrate a how to develop and build a clear understanding of the 'big picture' requirements and how they tie in with other projects and programs of work
    * Good technical understanding of the customer facing information technology services
    * Good technical understanding of information technology systems
    * Calm and objective approach when under pressure

    The Sr. ServiceNow Developer reports to the Manager - Technical Architect - ServiceNow.

    * Implement ServiceNow platform capabilities specifically the ITAM, ITSM, ITOM and SecOps modules including leading customer workshops and technical sessions, form configuration, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, custom scripting and third-party software integrations.

    * Work with the customer to ensure the configuration of ServiceNow meets their overall requirements including drafting technically focused user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategy, and knowledge transfer.

    Typical responsibilities include:

    * Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments.
    * Provide technical leadership and training, perform peer code reviews and ensure the ServiceNow team follows development best-practices
    * Experience with implementation of Service Now, working with all core ITSM processes, as well as Discovery, Orchestration, App Creator, Demand Management, Project Management, Performance Analytics and other applications as they relate to ServiceNow
    * Experience developing custom business applications on ServiceNow platform
    * Collaborate with System Administrators and ServiceNow Support concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform upgrades
    * Create and maintain API and data integration processes between ServiceNow and other services.

    * Prepare client facing and internal deliverables that are technology related
    * Transform functional requirements into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasks
    * Maintain production system reliability through utilization of change management process
    * Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application
    * Perform version upgrades and install patches
    * Design and develop solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include new or modifications to applications, forms, workflow, policies, actions, access control, interfaces and any other customization required to support client processes
    * Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes and performing root cause analysis


    * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or Business-related discipline
    * 4+ years of hands-on experience as ServiceNow Developer or ServiceNow Implementation Specialist
    * Strong communication skills (oral and written)
    * Certified ServiceNow Application Developer - or the ability to complete within 60 days of hire
    * Certified in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) - or the ability to complete within 60 days of hire
    * Experience developing and implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology
    * Experience with ITIL Service Management processes. ITIL Foundations certification preferred.
    * Experience with web technologies such as DHTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, HTTP
    * Experience with Server-side technologies such as Rino, Jelly
    * Experience with Database technologies such as JDBC, SQL
    * Previous experience configuring and customizing all aspect of ServiceNow - UI Actions, UI Policy, UI Pages, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Include Scripts, Catalog Client Scripts, Catalog UI Polices, Email Scripts, Scripted Web Services, Rest and SOAP web services, Roles / Groups to name a few
