We have an opportunity for a ServiceNow Lead Architect to join our talented team. This is a 100% remote position. The architect shall lead the development of technical architecture, approach, design of the system as well as ensuring developers are building the application to standards. Also, leading the investigation of legacy system data, design new data models, develop the data migration plan and guide the data migration process. The candidate shall also consider all the requirements and implement a flexible and scalable data model that can accommodate future changes and growth of the data. This position requires a full-time commitment.



Typical responsibilities include:

* Providing technical leadership and mentoring, performing peer code reviews, and ensuring the ServiceNow team follows software development best-practices
* Preparing and presenting client facing and internal deliverables that are technology related
* Translating business requirements into detailed technical designs that represent actionable development tasks
* Collaborating with System Administrators and ServiceNow Support concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform upgrades
* Overseeing major version upgrades and installing patches
* Designing and developing solutions within the ServiceNow environment to include new or modifications to applications, forms, workflows/flows, policies, actions, access control, interfaces and any other configurations required to support client processes
* Providing advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting a variety of difficult software problems, implementing bug fixes and performing root cause analysis
* Providing operational support for Management Information Systems (MIS)

Qualifications

Requirements:

* Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
* A Master's degree in the related field and a minimum of 12+ years OR Bachelor's degree in related field and 14+ years of hands on experience as ServiceNow Architect
* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certification
* Proven experience as the lead technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments.
* 6+years of ServiceNow Development experience
* Experience leveraging MID Servers for integration and automation
* In-depth understanding of database structure principles
* Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
* Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
* Experience with front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS)
* Experience with custom REST/SOAP APIs (webservices)
* Experience with interfacing with systems inbound/outbound
* Experience with leading and managing developers
* Must be eligible to meet government eligibility requirements including public trust clearance
* Must pass a background check and drug test

Responsibilities:


* Understanding our client's legacy systems & from there providing an effective, sustainable & scalable solution maximizing out of the box ServiceNow functionality
* Prepare and running design workshops including creation of design specifications based on out-of-the-box functionality and client requirements
* Taking the lead in providing gap analysis highlighting current state, future state, client needs and good practices
* Working with engineers, developers and platform owners to set the platform's technical direction and strategic objectives
* Leveraging knowledge of the platform to help our customers optimize platform utilization
* Participating in design and code reviews to ensure both deliveries of desired business outcomes and alignment to enterprise standards
* Driving key architecture decisions to solve critical complex problems for assigned and adjacent platforms
* Focusing on driving architecture towards long-term customer goals and objectives

Qualifications:


* 5+ years of ServiceNow development or solution architecture
* Minimum of 5 years of experience with common web technologies and networking (e.g. XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP, etc.)
* Understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSL, REST Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, SOAP, SCP, FTPS, JSON
* Expert knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM and ITAM suite of applications
* Experience developing and implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology
* Micro-services architecture knowledge, enterprise integration patterns
* Ability to design, architect and configure multiple applications / modules in the ServiceNow platform with a focus on ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, HAM, SAM, ITBM, Compliance, Vulnerability Response, Integrated Risk, among others
* Ability to design, architect and configure complex integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications
* Strong communication and customer relationship skills, and the ability to adjust for audience appropriately
