IT Project Manager - Fully Remote - Up to £60,000

As the Project Manager you will be expected to coordinate all project management activities in line with our clients' existing operations management processes. Whilst ServiceNow experience is desirable, prior experience of delivering to agile methodologies, in parallel to embedding into existing (more often than not) longstanding organisations processes is a must, with strong governance, delivery and stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

* To help lead the implementation team by example; to always represent in a positive manner whilst providing clear guidance on client expectations
* Regularly communicate with the Delivery Manager and client to raise and resolve issues as well as accept guidance
* Ensure project deliverable's are complete and accurate. Ensure agreed processes are followed including compliance with the Delivery Methodology.
* Work alongside technical architect to develop project plans and roadmaps
* Manage project budgets and liaise with budget sponsors where necessary.
* Review and prepare Project Highlight Reports
* Build and maintain relationships with service partners to ensure delivery of supplier work packages to time and cost.
* Manage all project processes (governance, planning, control, monitoring, risks and issues, reporting and team management).
* Draft project documentation (PID and Business Case) as required by client
* Willingness to 'muck in' and get any ad hoc tasks delivered when required

Skills

* Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
* Recognised Project Management Accreditation at Practitioner level (preferred)
* Excellent communications skills, able to present to peers, customer and the business via phone or in person

Experience

* 5 years experience in delivering projects to complex organisations with prior knowledge of ServiceNow preferred
* Knowledge of Project, Word, Excel, Outlook and other office applications
* Knowledge of ITIL processes
* Proven IT service management/delivery experience would be valuable
* Experience of working on substantial change projects highly desirable

Working Pattern

* This is a client facing role requiring direct interaction with client representatives (sponsors, stakeholders, managers and executives and process owners) as well internal delivery teams.
* Working hours will match client business hours with consideration for flexible working once relationships and project process have been embedded.

What you get to do in this role:

· Provide expert level business and technical solution consultancy during the mining/farming/hunting/pre-sales process in support of the direct sales and partners, principally through proposal production, ServiceNow product demonstrations and the scoping and delivery of in-depth Proof-of-Concepts.

· Focus on consultative selling by understanding an organization's business drivers, challenges, pain points and how ServiceNow solutions provide business outcomes that align to those initiatives. Showcase platform expertise (ITSM, CSM,FSM, HRSD / Non-IT workflows),industry expertise in the development and implementation of specific market strategies and programs to improve logo penetration working alongside the sales counterpart.

· Provide technical expertise and support for the Solution Consulting team, including developing solutions for customer issues

· Staying current on product developments/releases to a level closely related master architect of ServiceNow.

· Help the sales team meet or exceed Monthly, Quarterly and Annual sales objectives, constantly working towards daily, monthly & quarterly KPI metrics.

· Team with the sales personnel in the qualification of customer needs, performing pre-demo needs analysis, drive quality interactions and outcomes.

· Staying current on competitive analysis and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitors and focus on becoming a ServiceNow product line specialist.

· Arranging and conducting initial Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings; close collaboration with solution sales counterpart and extended team to deliver 'art of the possible' demonstrations showcasing ServiceNow platform capabilities with strong understanding of ServiceNow cloud offerings such as IT, Customer, Employee workflows including AppEngine.

· Ability to increase wallet share through account expansion and through ServiceNow adoption.



In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

· 5+ years of solution and service-based sales experience in enterprise software or consulting services in areas of SaaS/PaaS/aPaaS and work experience with market leaders. ServiceNow experience gained within software or IT sales organization (ideally within IT, CRM, HCM Service Delivery) is mandatory.

· Exhibits prior and current technical expertise in web technology and the ability to learn new technology.

· Strong communication and presentation skills

· Strong technical aptitude to understand the challenges a prospect is facing and translate those to business outcomes ServiceNow can deliver, and to communicate the value

· Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships at all levels of both prospect /customer organizations and internally across the business

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and configuration of the IT platforms, this will mainly include ServiceNow although also includes SAP. It will be crucial that all the IT systems work well together and are aligned to each other to deliver service to the company both internally and externally.



Role Responsibilities:

* Ensuring that you have the knowledge to be the SME for IT systems
* Great communications with stakeholders so you're able to analyse business requirements and ensure you're able to design improvements to fit their needs
* Develop the ServiceNow catalogue for both internal and external use
* Facilitating data dissemination from cores systems into other tools, real time dashboards or reporting
* Upgrading, deigning and developing the platform's core modules (ITSM, ITOM and CSM)
* Creation and changes of UI scripts and business rules
* Building and maintaining Service Portals and Virtual Agent
* Configuring Integration Web Services with Third Party applications by using SOAP API Web service
* Supporting other members of the team with in-house training

Essential Skills:

* Experience of ServiceNow administration (any experience with ITOM and CSM would be beneficial)
* SQL and SAP Query writing skills
* Good experience working with ITSM processes
* Understanding of ITIL best practice
