    CSM Technical Consultant Requirements



    * 1-3 years of experience on the ServiceNow Platform
    * Certified System Admin plus an additional mainline ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification (CSM, ITSM, APM or PPM preferred.)
    * 1 to 3 years experience with scripting using languages such as Javascript
    * Experience in a technical consulting role
    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

    Your New Job:

    The ServiceNow integration specialist will have a thorough understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its offerings, and a clear vision of how to integrate it with other tools. A successful candidate will be able to work with the platform architect and the rest of the development team to enable data and workflow automation using bespoke integration frameworks, as well as ServiceNow's offerings.

    What You'll Do:

    * Maintain and extend our current integration framework, which is a bespoke application built around RESTful web services
    * Review existing integrations for opportunities for improvement
    * Build framework for monitoring existing integrations
    * Leverage SN OOB functionality when appropriate
    * Configure and customize the Service Now platform to improve maintainability
    * Administer ServiceNow platform, including cloning, upgrades, and MID server maintenance

    What You'll Need:

    * At least 6 years of experience on the ServiceNow platform
    * ServiceNow certification(s) strongly preferred
    * Hands-on experience with all aspects of the platform, include client-side scripts, server-side scripts, security rules, email notifications, etc.
    * Clear understanding of ITIL concepts
    * Experience implementing CMDB processes
    * Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Glide API, HTML, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript, JSON
    * Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems over REST web services

    Technical Consultant Skill Set:

    * 3-5 years of experience with ServiceNow and have a comprehensive understanding of the ServiceNow enterprise product suite (including core process areas in ITSM, plus others such as ITOM, HR, CSM, UX, ITAM, ITBM)
    * Broad experience implementing the following Core Process Areas: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, CMDB, Knowledge
    * 2+ additional process areas outside of Core, at least one process area outside of IT (HR, GRC, Finance Mgmt, Facilities, etc.)
    * Experience in one or more of the following a plus: Orchestration, Integrations, Service Portal (UX Design)
    * Experience working with Agile teams, methodologies, and tools in a virtual environment.
    * A passion for advising and guiding customers on how to get the most out of the product and for learning the latest product features.

    What Will You Do!

    * Serve as a Senior ServiceNow developer on a cross functional development team which develops custom applications and workflow solutions
    * Design and develop custom application on the Now Platform to meet business requirements, including implementation of client scripts, business rules, workflows, and custom Service Portal widgets
    * Collaborate with application teams to design and implement data interfaces with other enterprise application systems
    * Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each
    * Develop and manage operational metrics reporting and dashboards
    * Collaborate with members of project teams to ensure successful, technically sound projects which are completed on time and on budget
