ServiceNow ITOM/ITSM Implementation Specialist

Fully Remote

Salary

Up to $150K

Our Partners is seeking an experienced ITOM/ITSM ServiceNow delivery consultant to become a part of their fast-growing professional services business. Ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of IT software consulting experience with 5+ years' experience supporting or implementing ServiceNow products. Primary role for this position is the delivery of current services for our customers as well as enhancing and growing service delivery capabilities within our company.

Job Duties

* Delivery of consulting services to install, configure, and integrate software products from ServiceNow with a focus on ITSM module (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, Service Portal, etc.,) & ITOM based products (discovery, service mapping, configuration management, event management, etc.,)

* Develop custom software solutions as required through scripting and software development

* Prepare technical documentation as specified in customer contracts and as internally required

* Support sales of software and services through demonstrations, Proof of Concepts, and customer presentations

* Deliver projects on customer premise or remotely as required. Most engagements are remote.

* Enhance customer knowledge in IT Operations Management with ITIL v3 framework

* Provide value-based assessments and workshops to help the customer maximize business results from ServiceNow software.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Qualifications

* Expertise and experience with ServiceNow ITSM & ITOM modules are required

* ServiceNow experience with discovery, service mapping, and configuration management (CMDB) is crucial

* 5+ years in a consulting position, delivering software implementation engagements

* Proven track record of managing in ServiceNow CMDB for on-prem instance

* Accreditations / certifications in ServiceNow System Administrator and implementation certification for products such as Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITOM is mandatory

* Hands on experience in CMDB feature - IRE, RTE, Probe-to-pattern migration, implementation, or enhancement of patterns

* Knowledge of networking concepts such as IP Addressing, Firewalls, ports

* ITIL knowledge with the ability to relate concepts to implementation strategies

* Excellent communications skills required - verbally with all levels of customer IT and business management as well as written with technical assessments and project related reports

* Consultative skills for software service delivery to lead customers to improve their processes and organizational models

* Must have legal authorization to work in the US.

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related degree is required

Must and should have Paris platform certs - Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM & Service Mapping (ITOM), Discovery/Event (ITOM)

I'm currently working with a ServiceNow Elite Partner who are looking to bring in a ServiceNow Business Analyst who is capable of designing and implementing processes while conducting research and performing analysis to acquire business requirement for each project you're working on. Another part of your role would be to test functionalities which would have been configured and developed by the rest of the team.

Responsibilities:

* Participates in design, test and transition of Service Management and Service Integration Solutions within ServiceNow Platform
* Performs thorough data analysis in order to provide requirements for developers enabling configuration and customisation
* Provides 'Early Life Support' - delivering Service Management and Service Integration services and handing over support to the future delivery teams
* Designs and execute E2E training which can include hosting live training sessions and issuing training documentation from Train the Trainer to training support staff
* Support the test phases with the test team
* Assists in gathering core configuration requirements, translate these into design model and manage the overall implementation process in cooperation with developers
* Captures customer's and service providers' requirements into stories, helps to solution the approach and manage the overall implementation process in cooperation with developers
* Support the management of the requirements traceability matrix
* Support and create any necessary project documentation that relates to evidencing our requirements. Documenting our processes and procedures and supporting the creation of solution and operations documents

Skills:

* Experience in IT Service Management design, transition or operations processes
* Experience in business analysis and configuration or administration of 2+ modules of ServiceNow Platform
* Understanding Scrum Methodology
* Expert organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise, self-starter able to work independently with minimum of supervision
* Interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders; such as clients and internal team members
* Strong analytical skills are needed to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts,
* Decompose high-level information into details,
* Facilitation skills to assist gathering requirements in workshops and provide training to clients and internal team members
* Use of industry recognised technologies in order to facilitate work environment
* Demonstrate experience in communicating across all levels of an organisation, at the most senior levels
