Job Description

Lead the ServiceNow platform initiatives which provides new capabilities or functionality to meet the business needs or requests. Leads development for cloud applications on the ServiceNow platform. Contribute and Lead in architecture activities on the platform; work closely with Enterprise Architecture team to follow the best practices. Provide overall technical direction on security aspects of the platform and get aligned with GSO (Global Security Operations) standards. Communicate effectively articulating technical Solutions to business and other stakeholders. Plan & design integrations with other systems; recommend innovative approach or solutions for complex business issues. Be hands on and ready to roll up the sleeves to work on critical incidents and help developers when needed.

Role & Responsibilities* Responsible for technical roadmaps outlining the blueprint for upgrading, patching, and sustaining the application platform.
* Work with Enterprise Architecture team to follow best practices and standards by being the team's satellite Architect for ServiceNow
* Maintain the current state of the ServiceNow platform architecture documentation, provide the architecture inputs while working with Enterprise Architecture group
* Lead the strategic development of new platform customizations or capabilities as needed, based on business groups needs
* Provide development and configuration effort estimations with respective to modules of the ServiceNow platform using platform tools
* Actively participates in the configuration of new applications or modules of application life cycle of planning, development, and implementation phases
* Lead ServiceNow upgrades from planning to execution and work with the vendor on implementations
* Build credible relationships across teams to understand functional specifications, as well as confirm support requirements
* Participates in the collection and implementation of tool requirements and investigates as necessary to determine the best solution or configuration options available based on the specific requirements

* Travel less than 20%

Skills & Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree
* 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years of relevant experience with an advanced degree
* 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow
* Service Now Platform certification(s)
* Experience with Service Now-ITSM (CMDB) HR , CSM or any of the modules of the platform
* Experience in Scripting/implementing/ administering of ServiceNow Platform
* Multi-tenant cloud platform knowledge
* Worked on different development methodologies like SDLC and Agile Development
